Happy Thanksgiving!!

From all of us at CHS Primeland we wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving!  We have much to be thankful for…great customers, outstanding co-workers, safety, family and friends.  Please note that our offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday of this week to celebrate the holiday.

Thank you Veterans!

Thank you to all our Veterans!  We have a number of customers and employees who served (or are still serving) our great country.  It is great because of your service and sacrifice.  Thank you from all of us at CHS Primeland!

Iverson’s – Family of the Year

Congratulations to T&T Farms and the Iverson Family for being selected as CHS Idaho Farm Family of the Year.  They are from Bonners Ferry, are University of Idaho alumni, and joined CHS Primeland employees for the University of Idaho Homecoming Parade and the Vandal Football game where they were recognized on field.  Outstanding family who are the 3rd and 4th generation to operate their farm.  And the 5th generation is on it’s way with three month old Colton!  Congratulations to the Iverson’s!!!  And to top off a great day, the Vandals won!!!

Fall Planting

With cooler temps and shorter days, the farming cycle is starting over again on the Palouse and Camas Prairie.  Fertlizer and seed are going in the ground for another crop season.  As you are planning the next crop year, call us with any questions or to learn the latest in seed varieties, variable rate fertilizer application or how patronage can put money back in your pocket.

Joel Elevator Impresses!

With an early harvest, the contractors and managers working on the Joel project were sweating.  But team work paid off and they started the new elevator a few days before the combines started to roll.  And the results are truly impressive!  With a leg running better than expected (better than 15,000 bushels per hour), trucks are barely stopping to unload.  And a new scale and “One-Weigh” system are speeding up accuracy and back office processing time.  At CHS Primeland, we are serious about investing in our infrastructure to make sure we are relevant into the future.
